InFocus and Market Velocity have partnered to provide a complete trade-in and recycle solution for InFocus authorized resellers and you. Together Market Velocity and InFocus have developed a customized InFocus web portal for trade and recycle that is always available via the Internet. Market Velocity specializes in the remarketing and disposition of used computer equipment and can provide the maximum values for customers interested in updating to new equipment. If the product no longer has an aftermarket trade value, you can easily choose to have those products recycled by Market Velocity who recycles the products according to the latest EPA guidelines. The InFocus Technology Upgrade Program is an integrated, easy to use solution for InFocus resellers and you, and supports a wide breadth of computer product categories and brands.
Any US or Canadian reseller or customer who has used products to trade or recycle and will be purchasing a new InFocus projector. If a reseller completes a trade on behalf of their customer, the check can be mailed to either the reseller or their customer. Or, a reseller may simply send their customer the link to the InFocus Trade-in website so the customer can get a free quote and complete the trade/recycle themselves.
Log on to http://infocus.tradeups.com to have easy access to trade-in values. You may either register to establish a login ID, or use “Get a Free Quote” to skip the registration process. (Note that you will need to register in order to complete a trade/recycle on the website). You will be able to access the InFocus Technology Upgrade web site, enter the equipment to be traded, and receive a quote for the trade-in value. If the product does not have a trade in value, a quote for recycling fees can be provided. If the reseller or you decide to accept the quote, you will be asked to login/register, accept the terms and conditions, provide mailing information for the shipment and check receipt, and then complete your trade/recycle request online. From that point, the reseller or you will ship the used product back to Market Velocity and fax in the proof of purchase for the new InFocus eligible product to 770-925-9064 or mail to :
InFocus Technology Upgrade Program 1305 Mall of Georgia BoulevardSuite 190Buford, GA 30519
You may get a quote by selecting "Get a Free Quote” to receive an instant quote without registering. However, if you want to complete the transaction you will have to register. To become a registered user, simply select "register" on the navigation bar.
The trade-in values stated in the InFocus Technology Upgrade Program are based on their value in the used or secondary marketplace also known as Fair Market Value (FMV). Market Velocity maintains relationships with dozens of re-marketers throughout North America and also maintains a proprietary pricing database which feeds the InFocus Technology Upgrade Program web site. We pass along whatever the re-marketers will pay for the used equipment to you. It is best to think of the trade-in value as the used wholesale value. Recycling fees include the cost to recycle the product according to environmental guidelines (US and Canada) and the cost to ship the product from your site to the recycler.
Once the trade-in product in question has been received, inspected, and approved as sellable by Market Velocity and the proof of purchase of your new InFocus eligible product has been validated, Market Velocity will mail a check for the trade-in value to you within approximately 45 days. If the product is being recycled, the fee to process this transaction (recycling and shipping fees) will be collected via credit card which is done while completing the transaction online.
Yes, you must purchase a new InFocus eligible product either 30 days prior to completing your online transaction or 30 days after. If the serial number is not included on the purchase invoice you must write the serial number on the invoice prior to submission.
